Congratulations! Having a new baby is such an exciting and busy time. If this is your first baby, please read the information below:
When You Deliver
Once you arrive at the hospital, you will be asked who your pediatrician is. When you say, Child Health Associates, the hospital will send over information about your new baby to us directly. Once the baby is delivered, a staff pediatrician will examine and care for your baby. They will advise you when you should make your first appointment with us!
Your Baby’s First Office Visit
Be sure to bring any paperwork from the hospital, insurance information and new patient documents. During this visit your baby will be measured and examined by one of our providers. For breastfeeding mothers, we have a lactation counselor available to help and assist with any concerns or questions if needed.
